After retiring from the Insurance Industry, Janice is now focusing on her Creative Passions. She has painted with watercolours, inks, oils with her main choice of medium is Acrylic. Brigitte Huber
Painter
Brigitte Huber is a Canadian artist who draws her inspiration from the great outdoors. Fascinated by plants, people, and open landscapes since childhood, she has nurtured a lifelong love of nature—a passion she now shares through her artwork.
Her creative journey has been anything but linear. After studying graphic design, raising a family, and building a career as a psychotherapist, Brigitte never lost her deep connection to art. Upon retiring, she fully embraced her true calling, devoting herself to painting.
Working in oil, watercolor, and mixed media, Brigitte captures the beauty, texture, and spirit of the natural world, inviting viewers to share in her appreciation for the landscapes and life that surround us.

Dyane Eugenio

Dyane Eugenio has been working professionally for over a decade in the animation industry. She has contributed to many children’s shows as a background painter and designer/visual development artist. Her credits include The Magic School Bus Netflix movies, CG Barbie Netflix movies, Weather Hunters on PBS, among others.
When taking a break from digital work, Dyane enjoys painting traditionally in her spare time. She finds inspiration in capturing memories and experiences in paint, much like a camera preserves a photograph. She has a particular love for gouache and plein air painting.

Judy Gascho-Jutzi
Textile Artist
A lifelong sewer, from clothing to custom interior design work, quilting and fibre art, Judy's passion for her textile art comes from a love of colour, fabrics, fibres and a strong connection to nature. Several of her commissioned realistic 3d landscapes, in her distinctive style have been accepted into juried exhibitions and are seen world wide. She is known for her trunk shows, workshops, charitable quilting endeavours and welcoming new commissions.

Barbara McLeod is a representational artist who currently resides in New Hamburg, a rural/urban settlement within Wilmot Township that is rich in local heritage landscapes. After a successful career in municipal government, with several years as the Clerk of the Township, she is now retired and free to dedicate time to her lifelong passion with painting. Barbara is adept working in the media of traditionaloils or watercolour, painting plein air and in her studio. Her subject matter primarily lies in interpreting landscapes – whether they are found in nature or rural/urban scenes.As a member of Central Ontario Art Association, Art$Pay, Homer Watson House and KWSA, Barbara has enjoyed gaining knowledge from numerous professional artists and colleagues over the years and feelsthat these artists have been instrumental in her development as an artist. Among her mentors are JohnStuart Pryce, Devona Paquette, Sheila Davis, Bert Williams, Liz Lesperance, Jake Mohl, Art Cunanan – toname a few.Much time is spent in the great outdoors painting from life. She is passionate about capturing the beauty of nature and the mood and emotion of the subject matter on canvas. She has participated in numerous plein air events and recently was awarded with the Best Urban Scene at the Perch n’ Paint Event in Grand Bend. She hopes the viewer enjoys her work as much as she does creating it!

Michele Brenneman
Watercolour and Acrylic Painter
Michele has been creating something as long as she can remember whether it was drawing or painting on paper or other items. Art was always her go to or escape growing up. She enjoyed art when she was in school, however when she started a family - art took a back seat, however she was still creating just in other ways. As the family grew up, she started to rediscover her art again. It has been a sweet time to experiment and try some different mediums.
Michele loves being in nature whether it is hiking or kayaking and loves taking lots of photos for her own reference. She has been painting mainly in Watercolour and Acrylic. What Michelle loves about water colour is that it can resemble nature - it is very organic and you have to be ok with how things end up working with that medium. Many of the pigments in water colour are very granular, providing different textures to the paintings as a result, very much much like nature - whether its a pattern in tree trunks or how the water is moving or how different plants grow or how rocks form in the river.

John Werlich
Paper Artist
John Werlich studied art and design at Humber College. He furthered his interest in the arts with various continuing education classes, including those at the Ontario College of Art and the Glasgow School of Art. Having worked with his hands all his life, he has developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and aesthetics. Since 2003, he has sold his visual art at numerous shows, including Cabbagetown, Muskoka, Queen West, Buckhorn, McMichael, Toronto Outdoor, Kingsway-Lambton, Pelham, and One of a Kind art shows.

Linda Sanderson
Handweaver
Linda Sanderson is a hand weaver who was born and raised in Kitchener. After twenty years of weaving, she is still enthralled with the endless opportunities for creativity in combining colour, structure, and design.
She enjoys reinterpreting traditional weave structures in modern ways, and her work is often inspired by nature, other artwork, and her love of colour. Although she prefers working with natural fibres from both plant and animal, such as cotton, linen, silk, and wool, she also enjoys exploring new “eco” fibres, such as tencel and bamboo, for the economic and sustainable alternatives they offer.Linda’s work has been shown and sold in various local galleries, and she continues to work toward a Certificate of Handweaving through the Ontario Handweavers and Spinners Association.

Ann L Gordon
Painter & Mixed Media Artist
Ann has always had an interest in art. From the 4-H books of her rural youth to the dozens of doodles created alongside business meeting notes and the many visits to art galleries and museums during her world travels – art is in her heart. After a busy career in leadership and international development, Ann picked up a brush and canvas in 2017 at her home in Waterloo Region and hasn’t looked back since.
Painting mainly in acrylic and mixed media, her portfolio has focused on florals, still-life, pet portraits, landscapes and abstract art. Ann really enjoys painting florals with all their bold contrasts and soothing petal and leaf rhythms. Her recent still-life series focuses on bringing food to life on her easel, as she captures its colour, shape and texture. In 2022, Ann became an artist at Le Galeriste, a Canadian company that features her art online in fashion and accessories.
Ann is a member of the Grand River Artists Collective and has participated in juried shows, local galleries and international competitions. She is proud to have received a Finalist Award in the Flower Power International Juried Competition at Camelback Gallery in May/June 2024 & 2023, as well as, an Exhibition Winner at Artist Space Online Gallery Botanicals Art Exhibition in April 2024 and February 2023.

Jonathan Sau
Photographer
Jonathan Sau is a Canadian fine art photographer based in Waterloo, Ontario. His photography work started back in the film days. Today his photographic interest is diverse, with a focus on natural and urban landscape, astrophotography, and floral and close-up. His astrophotography work is a medium for him to bring science to the general public through art.
Jonathan’s work has won awards at juried art shows and national photography competitions, and has been selected to represent Canada in international photography contests.
Jonathan is a Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA) certified judge and has judged in national and international competitions. He is a board member of the Grand River Imaging and Photographic Society (GRIPS) in Kitchener, Ontario, and leads the photo evaluation group at GRIPS to
share his experience and knowledge. He also runs workshops and presentations on astrophotography and other topics on photography.

Nancy Taves is a self-taught Canadian Realist painter living in small town Ontario. After a successful career with Bell Canada, retirement has brought new opportunities and time to pursue her passion to paint. Working mostly in oils and acrylics, she finds inspiration in everyday life and beauty all around her. You will always find a painting on her easel in her home studio, but she can also be seen set up in the great outdoors, en plein air, capturing the colours, lights, and shadows, of rural life. Nancy is an active member of the Central Ontario Art Association. At the Assembly Hall Gallery, Etobicoke, her painting, “Just Chillin” was awarded first prize for best Oil/Acrylic in the show, Crossection. She received an honouraable mention award for her painting “Pebble Beach” in Visions Squared 2023 at the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre
For the last six years, Nancy has been a participant and chair person in the New Hamburg Art Tour, working with a small group to ensure the ongoing success of what has become a major community event for the Township of Wilmot

Amanda’s love of flowers and nature started at a young age when her grandmother taught her to plant her very first flower garden at age 4. Since then Amanda continued gardening and as she got older and interested in photography, she began capturing beautiful photographs of the flowerbeds she tended.

Anne retired from business in 2012 and renewed her long-term interest in art and began taking painting and drawing workshops and classes to improve her techniques and knowledge. She is primarily a representational landscape artist, inspired by nature, locally and further afield. Wayne Richardson
Digital Photography Art
Wayne Richardson is a New Hamburg resident and proud Canadian who has been fortunate to travel extensively through various countries and locales, always with a camera in hand. His attraction to capturing unique images often stems from an appreciation for the abstract, with shape, form, and texture serving as prevalent inspirations.
Wayne presents his art pieces in formats different from the usual to accentuate the life and colours true to the moment that first prompted each photograph. All works are printed on vinyl, which is overlaid on an aluminum plate and finished with a special coating to protect the surface from corrosion. This process results in art pieces that are vibrant, lightweight, highly durable, attractively priced, and suitable for indoor or outdoor display. Weather does not negatively affect the vinyl or aluminum. Each piece stands alone when displayed, eliminating the need for framing, and can be ordered in any size to meet individual requirements.
